  ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:

Klaus Weber, Principal Camera Solutions & Technology

Klaus Weber is responsible for the definition and presentation of the camera solutions and technology for Grass Valley, a Belden Brand. Klaus’s experience includes multiple technical and commercial tasks in the area of broadcast cameras. Klaus has more than 35 years of industry experience, with the last 23 focused on various duties around marketing and business development for the Grass Valley cameras. He is a member of the SMPTE, the FKTG, and the author of several technical articles and white papers addressing camera-related technologies and topics. In addition, Klaus has been awarded a patent around imaging technology and regularly presents technical papers at various industry events and participates in industry panels around the world.

 

Prinyar Boon, Product Manager

Prinyar Boon is responsible for the market analysis and roadmap development for the full portfolio of PHABRIX test & measurement systems. With over 35 years of hands on industry experience, Prin has worked on the design of several generations of studio equipment throughout the broadcast production chain. More recently he has been deeply involved in the experimentation and testing of high dynamic range (HDR), wide colour gamut (WCG), and next-generation audio (NGA) in live production. He has also worked on the development of standards for DVB HDR video and next-generation audio, as well as the colourimetry for digital cinema. Prin is a member of SMPTE, the IEEE, the AES - is a past chair of AES UK, and has been a papers assessor for IBC for many years. He has been awarded several patents and is a frequent participant in industry events.
